Herndon Career Center Consolidation
Raytown, Missouri
The Herndon Career Center, in cooperation with the city of Raytown, is consolidating its east and west campuses to accommodate new retail development. The process of moving its west campus programs to a new site adjacent to the east campus involves approximately 60,000 sq. ft. of new construction. The new building will provide state-of-the-art facilities for the school's Automotive Technology; Welding and Metal Fabrication; Construction Trades; Cosmetology; and Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration programs. The project is expected to be completed in summer 2008.
